This original needle felted piece has been inspired by the Wild Atlantic coastline of Ireland. Sheep climbing on jagged rocks and over the headland are a common sight when travelling along our coast roads!
This picture has been created using a combination of silk and merino wool fibres. The fibres, which are very fine, have been manipulated together using a barbed needle onto a wool backing. The constant manipulation with the needle causes the fibres to bind together naturally.
This piece comes double mounted, ready for framing.
Mount measurements: 12” x 10” (30.5cm x 25.5cm)
