This Fine Bone China Drinking Mug is part of the ‘Churches and Castles in Adare’ Collection, based on original watercolours by Alison Erridge. The series feature the Trinitarian Abbey, The Augustinian Priory, The Desmond Castle and the River Maigue Road Bridge. The Augustinian Abbey was founded c.thirteenth century. It was built by John Fitzthomas Fitzgerald. Situated on the banks of the River Maigue. Alison’s illustrations are much sought after by lovers of beautiful art.
