Fine Bone China 2 piece butter dish is part of the ‘Historic Buildings in Adare’ Collection. The series feature the Trinitarian Abbey, The Augustinian Priory, The Desmond Castle and the River Maigue Road Bridge. The Desmond Castle is situated on the edge of Adare. The Desmond castle was founded in the 13th century. After the rebellion in 1536, the castle was forfeited and granted to the Earl of Desmond. Alison’s illustrations are much sought after by lovers of beautiful art.
